Job opportunity; PR and Marketing Administrator

We’re looking for an organised and efficient individual to join our team, based in Bleadon, just outside Weston-super-Mare, who can help us with both business administration and creative campaign co-ordination.

Plum is a marketing, communications and PR agency that works with a range of businesses and organisations throughout the South West and beyond. This role provides a great opportunity for someone who’s an accomplished administrator with a flair for writing and creativity to work as part of a small, but growing team on a wide variety of exciting work within the agency.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing a range of administrative support tasks to the team in order to keep the office running effectively and efficiently, including; telephone and email support, diary management, helping with accounting systems and managing information.
  • Supporting the team in their delivery of PR and communications activities including proof-reading, copy editing, research and the preparation of reports.
  • Implementing creative promotional activity for Plum and clients, including social media channels and online marketing.
  • Liaising with suppliers e.g. photographers, clients and media contact to ensure the smooth delivery and coordination of campaigns and activity.

You will have a sharp eye for detail, show initiative, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online channels including Twitter, Facebook and ideally WordPress.  As an accomplished administrator, ideally with experience of marketing and PR, you should be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision, offering exceptional levels of customer care in all that you do.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £14,000 to £17,000 subject to experience.
