Taunton-based Evosite is expanding into paid search marketing with the appointment of Tom Sangers to its senior management team. Tom Sangers joins the team as Head of Search and will spearhead Evosite’s new service, further expanding the company’s strong digital marketing offer.
Tom Sangers joins Evosite with a 10-year track record of success in digital marketing and has extensive experience as a search marketing manager. Tom has developed and implemented strategies to substantially grow revenue and/or conversions for a variety of lead generation and e-commerce businesses, from multi-million to local start-ups. He is a Google Partner and ACIM Marketer and has been nominated in the Drum Search Awards and the Direct Marketing Association for best use of paid search in the past.
Evosite, which was recently ranked Top 50 in The Drum’s Best UK Agency Census, has discovered a real need for specialists in the paid search marketing industry. With an increasing number of clients interested in paid search marketing; advertising within the sponsored listings of a search engine or a partner site such as Pay per Click, search marketing was a natural progression for the agency.
“Evosite has earned an impressive reputation in the fields of web design and eCommerce,” Tom explains. “We know that our clients’ websites perform well, which is why major brands such as Flogas, Your Move and VW choose to work with us. Paid search and social media advertising are a sound investment when you know you are driving traffic to highly professional sites built around a great customer experience.”
James Shakespeare, Founder and CEO of Evosite, said: “We have a large client base and many clients were approaching us for help in this area. Having established our optimisation division over the last 18 months we decided that the time was right to offer paid search as both services complement each other, offering an end-to-end view of our clients’ customer experiences.
“We’ve built the company gradually so we can offer exactly what clients need; whether that’s strategy, optimisation, user experience, design or development. Finding somebody, like Tom, with the right paid search experience who would fit in with the way we work, was critical.”
Paul Randall, Senior UX Architect at Evosite, commented on Tom’s appointment: “When you are sending paid traffic to a website, every visitor costs you money. To generate the best return, the website needs to be as compelling and persuasive as paid search is. Optimising on-site ensures you get the most out of your paid spend. Evosite can now offer all these important components in one place.”
Tom will be joining other members of the Evosite leadership team at eCommerce South West in Bristol on October 20th 2016 and providing search marketing and digital marketing advice for ecommerce companies. This free event brings together leading speakers from all aspects of doing business successfully online. To book a place, please visit www.ecommercesouthwest.co.uk .
