Invitations now open for pro-bono PR from Plum

Like many at this time of the year, Plum have made some New Year’s resolutions.

Plum will aim to help local businesses to better understand their PR potential!

So we don’t give up on our resolutions this year, we are launching ‘Plum Project 2014’, the chance to help a charity for the year.  We understand how non-profit organisations can struggle with PR and marketing commitments while also concentrating on much needed fundraising and everyday commitments.

Plum are asking people to nominate charities from the North Somerset and Somerset areas who you think would benefit from our help.

The successful charity will become Plum’s charity of the year and gain pro-bono (free) PR and marketing guidance throughout the year. This will include four news releases, social media set up and management, coverage on our Plum website and direct funds raised from charity events we may hold throughout the year.

If you think your charity would benefit from our help, or you know a charity that you would like to nominate, all you need to do is email Ange at angela@plum-communications.co.uk with the charity name, contact details, website and no more than 200 words on why your charity needs our help.

The closing date for applications is 6th February. The nominated charities will be shortlisted and then the final five will have one week to gather public support via a voting form on our website www.plum-communications.co.uk. The organisation with the most votes will be announced as the winner on February 14th.

We look forward to reading your worthy nominations!
