Amy is our Junior Account Executive. She graduated with a 2.1 in a research-based History degree which gave her many skills that has led her to wanting to pursue a career in PR and communications.
During her time at university, Amy was an active member of the Swansea University Cheerleading Team’s committee. Here, she could learn and develop her skills in organisation and communication to a high level. In her role as Social Secretary, Amy had the responsibility of gaining and maintaining sponsorship for the team. She organised weekly and annual events for the whole squad where she could exercise her creativity and close attention to detail. Amy’s other role was to create, promote and protect the teams reputation, specifically in the social media sphere.
Amy has worked in a diverse range of sectors prior to her joining Plum where she has learnt the fine art of hospitality and believes that good customer service lies at the core of any successful business. She also believes that communication is key and rates that to be one of her best traits.
Amy may be new to the PR and communications industry, but she has gained many transferable skills which only add to her enthusiasm and ability to listen and absorb information quickly. Amy will be supporting the busy account management team at Plum HQ with diary management, business-related research, proofreading, copywriting and social media plus much more!
