Karen Morledge MSc MCIPR, Plum’s founder and Director, has over 15 years’ experience of marketing and communications gained within both the public and private sectors.
Prior to setting up Plum, Karen held senior roles for a housing association and local authority, as well as working for large newspaper groups in the South West and in her hometown of Cambridge.
Karen has experience of working in a diverse range of sectors, including professional services, housing and construction, charity, leisure and tourism and economic development. Karen is a long term member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and holds qualifications to support her practical application of her knowledge and skills.
In 2008, Karen obtained an MSc in Management from the University of the West of England, before setting up Plum and growing it into the highly regarded and successful agency that it is today.
Karen’s qualifications and expertise means that she can deliver both at a strategic and operational level to achieve great results and is particularly passionate about supporting SMEs in the South West, but is at her best when she works in a corporate environment.
Karen loves: Somerset, sunshine, family holidays, coffee, craft G&T, tight deadlines and her apple devices.
Karen loathes: Being ill, broad beans, cheap wine, grey days and traffic jams.
