Potential buyers will be able to enjoy locally sourced scones, jam and cream while gaining advice from Summerfield’s sales team and interior designers on how to make the make the most of the offer.
Richard Nicol, Divisional Sales Director for Summerfield, said:
“The prospect of moving into a brand new home is exciting and offers buyers the chance to decorate exactly as they want. Our open day on 12 July will allow viewers to discuss their plans with suppliers at College Gardens, while also giving them the opportunity to make considerable savings by reserving a home.”
The College Gardens development is well situated in the popular residential area of Alcombe, Minehead, and offers a choice of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes with prices starting at £155,000. At The Paddocks in Williton, three-bedroomed terraced homes with either garages or two parking spaces are available from £175,000, to four-bedroom semi or detached properties ranging from £220,000 to £249,950 depending on the plot.
In line with Summerfield’s usual high standards, each property has been designed specifically to complement its setting, incorporating traditional style with character features typical of the local area. All are built in a sustainable way, are designed to ensure energy efficiency and come with a ten-year warranty.
Talking about Summerfield’s aim to support local business, Richard added:
“Summerfield is a South West developer born from a family construction company that’s been active in the area since 1823, so supporting local business is incredibly important to us. It’s an exciting time for Somerset; businesses are positioning themselves for future growth and our decision to use local suppliers is our way of supporting the local economy.”
As well as helping local businesses, Taunton-based charity, St. Margaret’s Hospice, also benefit from the cream tea open days. There will be an opportunity for viewers to make donations to St. Margaret’s Hospice on the day and they will receive £100 for every property sale that completes within 2014. Summerfield recently presented St Margaret’s Hospice with a cheque for £2,400 from sales in the first quarter and Summerfield are hopeful the open days will enable them to make other significant donations throughout of the year.
