As part of their commitment to providing customers with fantastic customer service, regional property developer, Summerfield, will arrange for a handyperson to visit new homebuyers in the first week after they’ve moved. The ‘mover’s mate’ will be freely available to the occupiers on a day of their choice, to provide help with any practical tasks that need completing around the home. The service will be available to everyone who purchases a home at ‘The Paddocks’ development, which is situated on the outskirts of Williton in Somerset, before 1 June 2014.

Richard Nicol, Divisional Sales Director for Summerfield, explained:

“At Summerfield, we are pleased to offer this new initiative, which we hope will help families moving into a new home. The handyperson can assist with the fitting of curtains, hanging of pictures and connection of white goods etc.”

Richard added:

“We are initially offering this exclusively to people who buy a home at the Paddocks this month and depending on what happens with this service, it may be something that we consider opening up to other developments. If people are interested in purchasing a home in Williton, now’s definitely the time to get in touch with one of our agents or visit the show home on site.”

Situated between the Quantock and Brendon Hills, The Paddocks provides contemporary living in a delightful location with a rural feel. The remaining properties available range from three-bedroomed terraced homes with either garages or two parking spaces from £175,000, to four-bedroom semi or detached properties ranging from £220,000 to £249,950 depending on the specification and plot location.

Justin Harris, Manager of Chanin & Thomas, said:

“This is a really attractive development of just 29 new homes and there are some great opportunities for couples and families to get their hands on a brand new Summerfield home. The Porlock design, for example, offers a three-bedroom house with family bathroom with en-suite facility, plus a downstairs WC, a spacious lounge with kitchen diner and outside landscaped gardens. Parking for two cars or a garage completes the package, which comes with a price tag of £175,000.”

Commenting on the new homes available, Steven Loveday, Manager at Wilkie May & Tuckwood said:

“Williton is a great location for these fantastic new Summerfield homes; open countryside nearby yet close access to the A39 from Bridgwater and the A358 from Taunton. The initiative of a ‘mover’s mate’ is a really nice touch from Summerfield and I’m sure it will be helpful to those moving in over the summer.”

Externally, the front and rear gardens have been landscaped, and a ten-year warranty will be offered on all properties.

Summerfield will also be donating £100 from each completed property sale throughout 2014 to Somerset-based charity, St. Margaret’s Hospice as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting local charities.
