Following an exciting first event with 80 exhibitors and over 1,850 delegates attending, Therapy Expo 2013 was deemed a huge success. So much so, that the organisers have announced that it is back; and promises bigger and better things for 2014.
Hitting Manchester Central on 12 and 13 September 2014, Therapy Expo 2014 is sure to be a must attend event, showcasing the new technologies and developments in the world of clinical therapy. Last year’s event attracted a range of innovative providers, companies and even Olympic athletes, and gave delegates the opportunity to attend workshops & seminars from leading industry experts to maintain their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Lisa Plummer, event organiser and Director of Therapy Advertising, said:
“The overwhelming success of Therapy Expo 2013 emphasized the need for a comprehensive experience all under one roof. Therapy Expo 2014 will bring together both clinical therapists and delegates wanting to gather information from cutting-edge technology providers and industry experts.
This year will be bigger and better, bringing together over 2,000 UK-based therapists for two days of exciting CPD combined with a therapy-based exhibition featuring brands well-known within the therapy and clinic industries. We have a great venue at Manchester Central and this September is sure to be another highlight in the clinical therapy industry calendar.”
Exhibitors such as WriteUpp, PhysioPod®, Kinesio Taping and Rocktape attended last year and are set to return. Rachel Fairweather, Co-Director and Founder of the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training, endorsed the event:
“Therapy Expo was a revelation for the clinical therapy arena and the venue buzzed with excitement and enthusiasm for what was taking place. Therapists and clinic managers came away much richer in knowledge and ideas and the speakers and exhibitors had a great platform to share their products, services and expertise.”
Designed to be a comprehensive experience for delegates including physiotherapists, osteopaths, sports therapists, massage therapists and clinic managers, the event will provide a first-rate opportunity for professional development and industry wide networking.

Several exhibitors used Therapy Expo to showcase and launch new products including practice management software, new iPad apps and interesting variants on cloud-based management software, and more of the same is expected at this year’s event.
A number of awards were given out during last year’s two-day exhibition, including the Best Dressed Stand awarded to Physio123, who specialise in creating and marketing physiotherapy websites. Steven Parry, Partner at Manchester-based Physio123, said on collecting his award:
“This was our first ever exhibition and I was so delighted that we picked up the award. We will be attending Therapy Expo in September 2014 to try and retain our title!”
